New York City has Uber and Lyft, or you can feel like a real New Yorker by flagging down one of the famous yellow cabs.
The subway is relatively easy and affordable. You can use your phone or Apple Pay. Despite what the media says, it is pretty safe, you just don't always FEEL safe on it. During the day it's mostly fine, but going home late at night we tend to take cabs home.
Walking is a great way to get around the city and not miss a minute of it. And you can try out saying 'HEY! I'M WALKING HERE!' in your best New York accent.
Alice's Mum LOVES the Ferry. It's only $4 and is open top which is delightful when it's warm and sunny. It's not super regular but if you plan it right it's a fantastic way to get around.
